Since arriving in Korea, I have been so pleasantly surprised at the range and quality of fashion coming from young Korean designers. I’d always heard that Koreans were wonderfully stylish and impeccably dressed - and it’s totally true.
I recently met a lovely Korean girl through my boyfriend whose sister is the owner of online boutique Grey Comma, featuring up and coming Korean designers. Both sisters have serious careers in fashion - one left a career as a fashion photographer in NYC to come and start up Grey Comma, and the other left her job at a high end Canadian online store to study fashion design in Paris.
I fell in love with the concept of Grey Comma immediately. Featuring simple and minimalist fashion, the style of the boutique appealed to me so much that I couldn’t resist when Nayoung offered me the opportunity to get involved behind the scenes.
Check out Grey Comma at www.greycomma.com - you can also find them on Facebook (Grey Comma) and Instagram (@greycomma).
Absolutely love this new recipe I found online. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to fairly healthy chocolate cupcakes and let me tell you, they are DELICIOUS!

A gorgeous spring day in Seoul that warranted a short sleeved shirt and skort.
By the way, if anyone is after cheap sportswear, ASOS often has Nike and Adidas for fairly cheap. I managed to get these Nike Twists for a measly $45.
Finished three of my four exams today so I made a pit stop to Zara for a treat. I didn’t find much that caught my eye (strangely enough) but these shorts were too cute to pass up.
Exams were looming this weekend so predictably enough, I spent hours procrastinating by downloading new apps for my phone. Naughty? Yes. Eye opening? Totally!
Mirrored trays. I’ve been on the hunt for one for months now and never once thought to look through Etsy. Silly, really. Seeing as that’s where the best treasures can be found.
No gym this morning because my favorite trainer is away so I went for my first run in weeks. Only about 7km but with a killer hill for most of it. A stitch completely disabled me in the last km but the rest of it felt great.
Now to hit the books again. Korean exams on Monday. Again.
