I used to spend hundreds of dollars on trims and cuts and re-styles and a few months ago, I couldn’t get into a hairdresser and desperately needed a trim, so my Korean tutor recommended a Just Cuts out in the suburbs.  She claimed they were all young Korean people working there, and did a really, really good job.  

So I thought the hell with it, it’s just a trim so I’ll try it out.  $27 later, I was a happy hair-2-inches-shorter chappy.

This weekend, I decided to get quite a bit lopped off and do my own colour at home, and on a whim, decided to give Just Cuts another try.  And I swear, it is the best haircut I’ve ever had.  The guy worked quickly, chopping inches off all around, then spun me in my chair and started going at my fringe.  15 minutes later, and $25 ($2 loyalty discount wooo) poorer, I drove home with a huge smile on my face.

I can’t believe that all these years, I have been paying absurd amounts for something that I could have gotten for a fraction of the price.  I am now sitting here with freshly cut and dyed hair (just my normal brown colour - the greys have finally won ARGH) and feeling pretty darn good about myself.
